At the Hospitality Institute of NSW, we provide more than just accredited training — we help you take the first real step toward a hospitality career. As a registered training organisation (RTO 45218 | CRICOS 03973M), we deliver the job-ready skills and recognised certifications required to work in venues across NSW. With a strong focus on practical knowledge, industry relevance, and student support, we make it easier for you to get qualified and get started.
To deliver high-quality training experiences that empower individuals and organisations to thrive in hospitality by building practical skills, confidence, and a commitment to excellence.
To be NSW’s leading training provider in the hospitality sector — known for producing a skilled, compliant, and career-ready workforce that drives industry growth and professionalism.
The Hospitality Institute of NSW was born out of real-world experience — not theory. Long before we were a training provider, we were venue operators. For over 30 years, our founders have owned and managed some of NSW’s most successful hospitality venues, from pubs and restaurants to function centres and bars.
Throughout those decades, one thing became clear: the success of a venue depends not just on systems or menus — but on its people. We saw first-hand the challenges of finding well-trained, compliant, job-ready staff. And we saw the opportunity to create something better.
That’s why HINSW was established — to bridge the gap between compliance training and the real needs of the industry. As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 45218 | CRICOS 03973M), we’ve built our courses to reflect the pace, pressure, and professionalism that hospitality demands. Whether it’s an RSA, RCG, Licensee course or First Aid, every program is designed to equip learners with the skills, confidence, and certification they need to walk into a venue and contribute from day one.
Today, HINSW is trusted by thousands of students and respected by industry leaders. But our mission hasn’t changed: to raise the standard of training across the hospitality sector and support the people who power it.
Because when hospitality thrives, so do the communities and careers it supports.
